Under the following conditions, an intelligent gas meter will automatically turn off the gas:
  • In case of a major earthquake.

  • In case gas is used for a long period.

When you turn on the gas again, please take the following steps:

1. Turn off all gas appliances. Do not forget to turn off outdoor gas appliances. However, the meter gas tap should not be turned off.
2. Remove a cover of a reset button.
3. Push the reset button firmly and take your hand off the button immediately. (The button will return to its original state and a red lamp will start flashing again.)
4. Wait for about three minutes. (While waiting, a microcomputer meter will check automatically for safety.) You can turn on the gas after the red lamp stops flashing.
5. Check whether there are any safety breakers that have been turned off.
